AGXX Keeps Polymers Hygienic and Odor Free Over the Long Term

AGXX protects polymers and polymer surfaces against microbial colonization and prevents the long-term formation of odors. Its effectiveness is based on a catalytic mechanism of action and works without affecting the desired material properties of the polymers.

AGXX is suitable for applications with high hygiene requirements, including food contact materials and products that come into direct contact with the skin, such as mattresses and sponges. The technology can either be incorporated into polymers or applied to surfaces and can be flexibly integrated into existing manufacturing processes.

Benefits of AGXX in Polymers:

Innovative Working Mechanism

Catalytic working principle, creating ROS from ambient air.
Active substance (BPR) is “free radicals”.

Long Lasting Efficacy

The mechanism of action is based on a catalytic reaction.

Plug and Play Integration

AGXX can be seamlessly incorporated into polymers such as PA, PU, TPU, and polymer coatings.

Food Contact

AGXX is suited for food contact materials, e.g. since its active substance is listed under PT 4.

AGXX Delivers Excellent Antimicrobial Efficacy in Polymers and on Polymer Surfaces

AGXX demonstrates excellent antimicrobial efficacy in various water absorbing polymers, including polyamide, polyurethane, and thermoplastic polyurethane.

It therefore protects demanding polymer matrices against microbial colonization.
