Platinum, 50% on high surface carbon (Actydon | Pt 50 C720) is a Pt catalyst on a high surface area carbon material. The catalyst is used as an electrocatalyst in proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) to catalyze the cathode oxygen reduction reaction (ORR), in high temperature polymer electrolyte fuel cells (HT-PEMFC) for the anode hydrogen oxidation reaction (HOR) cathode oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). The catalyst is specifically developed to enable high activity, high platinum dissolution stability and operation stability under dry conditions in PEMFC.
