Electrodes
Electrodes manufactured from platinum and platinum alloys are widely used because of their high electrical conductivity and resistance to chemical attack.

With extensive experience in electrode manufacturing, a range of high-quality electrode solutions is available for diverse application requirements.
The electrodes are manufactured from pure Platinum or Platinum/Iridium (90/10). These materials provide excellent mechanical stability and reliable performance. Four electrode designs are available: Fischer, Winkler, Wölbing, and Schöniger.

Fischer Electrodes
Fischer electrodes are sand blasted to increase the wire surface. This property makes them suitable for rapid testing at high current densities in both stirred and unstirred electrolytes. Depending on application requirements, electrodes can be supplied with a sand-blasted surface.
Winkler Electrodes
Winkler electrodes consist of a slit gauze cylinder with a concentrically arranged wire spiral. They are suitable for the electrogravimetric determination of copper and zinc.
Wölbing Electrodes
Wölbing electrodes contain a gauze that is securely fixed to the central rod at the top and bottom by a solid cross. Woelbing electrodes are available in a range of standard dimensions.
Schöniger Electrodes
Schöniger electrodes are manufactured from a pure platinum wire mesh formed into a U-shape. This electrode design is primarily used for the rapid determination of halogens and sulphur.
